He seems to want nothing more than to sit and while the time away observing nature around him. However, this changed when suddenly the “weather turned around,” and the sky, instead of being a rainy, autumnal sky, “streamed again a wonder of summer.” This turning seems to trigger a memory in the poet’s mind, and he falls through the curtain of time, remembering himself as a child...
